TIM Fearon The extraordinary coaching company.. Charismatic, entertaining and inspiring, Tim Fearon is an accomplished speaker who, in the words of one client, can “hold large audiences in the palm of his hand. He has a rare ability to deliver serious messages with humour and a light touch.” Tim is a trainer, coach and conference presenter, working with a range of companies from major blue chip organisations to small, entrepreneurial businesses. Clients he has worked for include Lloyds TSB, Birmingham Midshires Building Society, The NHS, ITV, The Economist Group, David Lloyd Leisure, Astra Zeneca, Arthur D Little, Standard Chartered Bank, Coca Cola, Unilever and Swiss Re. He has also served as a Board Director with Cannons Health and Fitness Plc, establishing for them a training academy unique in the industry and is currently a non-executive director of the Tessera Group PLC. Tim trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and went on to either direct or perform in over seventy productions in the UK, North and South America and Hong Kong. After eight years, searching for more challenges, he left the theatre to take on the directorship of a major UK arts project converting a derelict building into a fully functioning arts centre. Following this he formed a company which equipped young unemployed people with significant learning difficulties for the working world. The company, now a registered charity, achieved a success rate of getting 70% of the young people into full time employment. From there Tim joined The Industrial Society, then Europe’s leading independent provider of training and development in the workplace, becoming both Head of the Voluntary Organisations Unit – working with organisations such as Oxfam, Save the Children and British Red Cross – and Head of Youth Development, establishing the structure of the Student Industrial Society and recruiting organisations such as BP, KPMG, Barclays Bank and The Army as sponsors. He then joined Mercuri International, the world’s largest sales, marketing and customer service consultancy, where he helped to form the UK’s most successful team before leaving, twelve years ago, to found the Extraordinary Coaching Company, the training and development company through which he has earned his reputation amongst the UK’s most sought after speakers, trainers and coaches. Tim is a Certified NLP Trainer and qualified hypnotherapist. Married to the author Emma Sargent, he has six children and lives in the New Forest. Testimonials “Tim has a unique delivery style. He is effervescent, thought provoking and encourages his audience to feel thoroughly engaged. He has an excellent way of surprising and shaking up an audience, bringing inspiration, fun and energy.” Sharon Blake, LloydsTSB “Your session was both inspirational and entertaining and provided the ideal messages for the day. They will remain with us for a long time.” Jos Finer, NHS Logistics Authority “Bodylife has worked with many good keynote speakers over the years and in my opinion Tim Fearon is among the elite in Britain. He is a superb communicator with a dynamic style and an extremely powerful message. Our audiences have found his combination of intellect, wit and sometimes mind-blowing common sense an irresistible combination. Tim Webster, Managing Director, Bodylife UK "I have seen Tim Fearon hold large audiences in the palm of his hand. He has a rare ability to deliver serious messages with humour and a light touch. He is one of a rare breed who can both make a speech to an after dinner audience, run an amazing event engaging 150 manufacturing apprentices and do a senior management strategy meeting - all on the same day.” Julia Cleverdon CBE, Chief Executive, Business in the Community “Well, what can I say? You were brilliant! I think there would be an outcry if I did not invite you back, so stand by your phone!” Andrea Withnell, Group Marketing Manager, DC Leisure “Thank you for contributing to our Company Conference. As ever, your session proved to be a stimulating highlight. Even after the revelries of the night before, the delegates were still talking about you throughout Sunday” John Davis, Group Managing Director, Resource Administration Group Plc |
